Some days grief feels overwhelming. Other days it raises questions you weren't expecting. It’s not linear and it’s not something you simply move past based on a set schedule.
Grief coaching offers a dedicated space to explore your experience with someone who understands that there is no "right" way to grieve.
Together we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, identify practical ways to navigate everyday life and explore meaningful ways to live with what has changed.
Whether your grief is recent, anticipated, or years old, our work together meets you where you are.
Grief coaching provides guidance, education and practical support as you navigate life after loss. Sessions are conversational, personalized and paced according to your needs. There are no expectations to "move on" or meet a particular timeline.
Some sessions may include reflection exercises, worksheets, guided conversations or practical planning, while others simply provide a supportive space to process what you're carrying that day.
Grief coaching is not therapy, mental health treatment or crisis intervention. If your needs are better served by a licensed mental health professional, I'll help connect you with appropriate resources.
Every grief coaching relationship is guided by the Presence & Passage FACES Approach, combining Facilitation, Advocacy, Communication, Education and Support throughout our work together.
Because no two grief experiences are the same, our work is personalized to you.
I am a certified grief coach, which means I completed specialized training focused on understanding grief, supporting people through loss and using practical coaching approaches to help clients navigate change, build coping strategies and continue living in ways that are meaningful to them.
The certification program is accredited by three international organizations: the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), The Complementary Medical Association (CMA) and the Centre of Excellence for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Certification is not the same as licensure as a therapist or other mental health professional. My training as a grief coach complements my end-of-life doula training and more than 20 years of professional experience in communication and facilitation, including helping people understand and respond to complex and difficult circumstances.
Together, these experiences inform a practical, compassionate and individualized approach to supporting people through grief and loss.
